Each year the White House lights pink in October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Yet despite 220,800 new cases and 27,540 deaths annually, the No. 1 men’s cancer – prostate cancer – isn’t getting such support for September’s Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
But D.C. isn’t the world, and you can make it happen in your own community. How? By contacting healthcare centers, sports venues, businesses, schools and local governments to urge them to light a building or landmark blue for one night in September.
Once we get 100+ nominations for noteworthy buildings and landmarks, we’ll provide you the ability to contact your local leaders, business owners, and hospitals to help us reach our goal of 100 participating locations in September.
Nominate a location in your city to light blue! For us to best advocate for this location, we'll need to know a little about it. Help us by providing all the information below, and together we'll be able to fight prostate cancer for the men in your life!
