Each year the White House lights pink in October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Yet despite 161,360 new cases and 26,730 deaths annually, the No. 1 men’s cancer – prostate cancer – isn’t getting such support for September’s Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

But D.C. isn’t the world, and you can make it happen in your own community. How? By contacting healthcare centers, sports venues, businesses, schools and local governments to urge them to light a building or landmark blue for one night in September.

Once we get 100+ nominations for noteworthy buildings and landmarks, we’ll provide you the ability to contact your local leaders, business owners, and hospitals to help us reach our goal of 100 participating locations in September.
